I just took part in a casket arrival on base. A marine was killed last Sunday in Afghanistan. He was my age. He was on his first deployment. Seeing the faces of his fellow Marines as they went by sent chills down my spine. It was one of the most touching and real moments I’ve experienced. My thoughts go out to his friends and family.
